MODX.club

It is necessary to display what was done. That is, it is not only a complete website redesign, but also some specific tasks like Performance Optimization, or the development of a custom add-on, or something like that.

# Task

Add multilingual support to MODX.club.

At the current stage, two languages are sufficient:

- Russian — primary;
- English — secondary.

## Requirements

- enable the current haih-agent multilingual mechanism;
- add English versions of public Concepts and main pages;
- ensure correct localized URLs;
- check canonical / hreflang / indexability;
- ensure new Concepts can be created and maintained in RU/EN right away without manually duplicating the site structure;
- the English version should primarily cover key entities, services, packages, cases, and historical materials that hold value for the international MODX audience.

## Context

MODX.club is planned to be rapidly populated using the new Concepts mechanism: services, packages, historical artifacts, cases, and technical materials. Multilingual support must be implemented from the start so that the content boost works not only for Russian-speaking demand, but also for international MODX queries like `modx development`, `modx developer`, `modx web development`, and related clusters.

At this stage, additional languages other than English are not needed.

Add an English version of MODX.club; at the current stage, support for Russian and English is sufficient.

Populate website

For example, these links return 404:

```text
/en/posts/cmqstcg2l0003lw0q33gesi4g
/en/posts/cmqsnu96e000tml0qsyzh469g
```

While without the language version everything is fine, meaning these links redirect properly to the new pages:

```text
/posts/cmqstcg2l0003lw0q33gesi4g
/posts/cmqsnu96e000tml0qsyzh469g
```

Generally, the redirect mechanism is in the haih-agent core, and multilingualism is implemented on some specific websites based on it. However, the fix will most likely need to be done in haih-agent itself, since the locale and the URL without the locale are retrieved from Next.js itself. So even though we won't have a Locale there, we will be able to get the clean URL without the locale. This case has already been described somewhere by us, most likely in [vietnamguru.travel](/projects/cmqd3urq4000lme0u9jdog4sl)

In some cards, titles do not fit. Example: [https://modx.club/concepts/modx-pays-for-rarely-used-complexity](https://modx.club/concepts/modx-pays-for-rarely-used-complexity)

At the same time, it looks fine in the list, but there should be line breaks on the detail page.

On [freecode.academy](freecode.academy) there are links to old images that used to be on modx.club, but which are now unavailable, for example /uploads/images/00/00/01/2013/03/19/5c5380b615.png

Right here: https://freecode.academy/blog/news/9.html

They need to be restored.

Along the way, it makes sense to update all links in the content from modxclub.ru to freecode.academy
