Task: Migrate balldecor.ru to HAIH
Migrate balldecor.ru to HAIH
Rebuild the active BallDecor commercial website on HAIH without losing SEO or operational ordering workflows.
Migration of balldecor.ru to HAIH
Objective
Transfer the active BallDecor website to HAIH while preserving search visibility, commercially significant content, and core interaction workflows, without migrating the legacy architecture as-is.
What is important to preserve
- active indexed URLs and their search value;
- key business directions: event decoration, balloon delivery, printing/branding, seasonal and event services;
- telephone numbers, request forms, callback/contact workflows, and available communication methods;
- images and content that actively contribute to organic traffic and service sales;
- historical links from search and external sources via 1:1 URLs or correct 301 redirects.
What needs to be rebuilt
- Inventory the current website: routes, page templates, data, forms, integrations, assets, and actual runtime.
- Extract the domain core and implement it on HAIH using modern vertical slices.
- Do not copy legacy technical debt unless it serves as an external contract.
- Preserve or improve SSR/indexability, metadata, canonical tags, sitemap, robots.txt, structured data, and loading speed.
- Reproduce forms and lead generation, and verify the delivery of requests and contacts.
- Before switching, perform a full crawl of the old website and the new staging environment, mapping URLs, status codes, titles, H1 tags, canonicals, links, assets, and forms.
- After launch, check 301 redirects, 404 errors, sitemap/robots.txt, search accessibility, and analytics.
Definition of Done
The new balldecor.ru runs on HAIH, core user and commercial workflows are verified, SEO migration contracts are checked, significant old URLs are not lost, forms and analytics are operational, and further marketing improvements can be performed independently of the technical legacy.

Progress as of 09/30/2026
The preparatory migration phase has made significant progress.
Local technical tasks for the old project are complete: the old MODX site has been set up locally, the initial state has been recorded, a legacy audit has been conducted, and a complete URL registry has been prepared. The new HAIH-runtime is already connected to the existing MySQL: Knex/mysql2, MODX models, GraphQL, Apollo Client, SSR fallback for old URIs, and basic SEO metadata have been implemented.
The actual legacy volume has been confirmed by the audit: 4,809 MODX documents, 4,643 published and non-deleted documents, 32 templates, 89 TVs, 13,677 saved TV values, 5,308 docGallery rows, 2,829 products, and 728 historical URIs.
The new version can already locate a document by its old URI, load it via GraphQL on the server, render SSR with the document title and basic title/description/canonical/Open Graph metadata, pass the Apollo cache to the browser, and return a 404 for missing or non-public documents.
Types/lint/build, integration reading from real MySQL, SSR/routing/cache, and browser transitions have been verified. Full content, templates, forms, redirects, catalog, calculator, marketing pages, and the production proxy have not yet been migrated.
The four completed technical subtasks of the legacy repository represent preparation rather than the completion percentage of the new site. The main migration is still in progress.
